Applicants for this limited enrollment program should show significant progress* towards an Associate of Applied Science or other comparable degree from a regionally accredited institution. Completion of the program requires 180 credits total (including an associates degree or its equivalent plus completion of required program courses).

*Students who have made significant progress towards a degree but need a few more terms to finish the two year degree will be considered for acceptance – but the BAS degree cannot be awarded without a completed two year degree.  Therefore any student accepted into the program with a degree in progress will be given 4 terms to finish all remaining coursework towards the two year degree.  

In addition, successful applicants must have at least 3 years of industry experience with increasing responsibility.  

Students must also have at least a 2.0 cumulative GPA.  

This program is a cohort model and cohorts launch twice a year – Spring term and Fall term:

Spring Term – Zoom Cohort
Priority application deadline Feb 1
Each spring term we will launch a zoom cohort.  This group will meet via Zoom each
Wednesday evening 6-9, during the first four terms – Spring 1, Summer 1, Fall 1, Winter
1.  Then move to Thursday evenings 6-9 – Spring 2, Summer 2, Fall 2 with graduation
happening Fall 2.  
Applications for Spring term will be reviewed beginning in December.

To provide time to complete financial aid applications the Priority application deadline
for Spring Term Zoom Cohort is Feb 1. Applications may be accepted after this date
if seats in the program are available but delays in financial aid notifications will occur
and may not be ready by the start of spring term.

Fall Term – Face to Face Cohort
Priority application deadline August 1.
Each Fall term we will launch a face to face cohort.   This group will meet each Tuesday
evening ,  6-9, during term the first four terms – Fall 1, Winter 1, Spring 1, Summer 1.   
Then move to Thursday evenings 6-9 – Fall 2, Winter 2, Spring 2 with graduation
happening Spring 2.  
Applications for Fall term will be reviewed beginning in March.

• This program is a significant commitment.  Please tell us in a few sentences why you are willing to make this time commitment and how you hope it will contribute to your career goals.    
• Those with an  incomplete degree should outline in cover letter their plan to complete degree within the required first 4 terms
2. A brief one page resume that outlines relevant work history including current employment. Include dates of employment, job title, employer and a brief description.  Please limit to one page.  
3. An unofficial transcript showing a completed degree or significant progress towards a degree with a cumulative GPA of at least 2.0.  Those with an incomplete degree should outline in cover letter their plan to complete degree within the required first 4 terms.

Program details

Admission to this program begins late spring with classes starting in September in Fall Term. This program runs 7 terms and meets one evening a week with students completing work for each class online as well. The classes are mapped out to allow students to build on current experience and classroom learning. Each course will contribute to a personal portfolio, preparing students to demonstrate increased readiness to employers. The second year will include the flexible 15 credits which allows students to combine credit for prior learning with work-based leadership projects to enhance that personal portfolio.

Admission requirements:

1. Earned Associates of Applied Science with GPA of 2.5 or higher.
2. Access to reliable internet and ability to complete work on college LMS.
3. Ability to attend class one evening a week for seven terms. 
4. Work experience in field demonstrating increasing responsibility.
